Semaine de la Francophonie Identity
Toronto’s Semaine de la francophonie was established in its current format in 2001, when an organizing committee, spearheaded by Centre francophone de Toronto, was formed to create a calendar of events offered by various community organizations. Since then, the Semaine de la francophonie has become one of the major events for Toronto’s Francophone community.
The 2016 events celebrated the diverse francophone community. Playing off of the festival’s slogan, “Vibrons aux rhythms de la fracophonie” (Move to the Francophone rhythms), the electric colours and dynamic lines vibrate off of the page to reflect the energy of the festival.
